Disclosures belong in each actual report
This is a publication checklist, not a research report, a blanket “no conflicts” declaration or confirmation that existing reports comply. The analyst must verify the facts for every subject company and report date. Actual reports have not been supplied for review.
Read with Regulation 19 of the current SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, the Master Circular and applicable subsequent directions.
Identity, research basis & publication record
- Analyst/entity identity, registration details, report identifier, date, responsible author and applicable signing/approval record.
- Business activities, disciplinary history, associates, service terms and other material information needed for an informed investment decision.
- Subject company/security, research rationale, information sources and dates, valuation methodology, assumptions, recommendation meaning, horizon and material risks. Clearly distinguish facts from opinions and estimates.
- Relevant updates and corrections, distribution record and retained research materials. A target, past outcome or stop-loss does not assure execution or returns.
Financial interests, ownership & conflicts
- Whether the analyst/entity, associates or relatives have any financial interest in the subject company, and its nature.
- Whether those persons have actual or beneficial ownership of 1% or more of the subject company's securities at the end of the month immediately preceding publication.
- Other material conflicts of interest existing at publication. Give specific, verified answers rather than copying another analyst's “nil” statements.
- Whether the analyst has served as an officer, director or employee of the subject company, and whether the analyst/entity has engaged in market-making for it.
Compensation & relationships
- Compensation received by the analyst/entity or associates from the subject company in the preceding twelve months.
- Managing or co-managing a public securities offering for the subject company during the preceding twelve months.
- Compensation for investment banking, merchant banking or brokerage services during that period.
- Compensation for other products or services during that period.
- Compensation or benefits from the subject company or a third party in connection with the report.
- Apply the precise regulatory exceptions where disclosure would reveal specified material non-public information; do not use a general confidentiality statement to omit required disclosures.
AI use, third-party research & special formats
Disclose to clients the actual extent of AI-tool use in research services as required, including at the terms stage and when updated. The analyst remains responsible for confidentiality, integrity, outputs and compliance. Tradingjunkie's actual research AI use has not been confirmed; no “AI-free” or “AI-reviewed” claim is made.
Distribute third-party reports with the applicable material-conflict disclosures or the permitted address directing recipients to them. Public appearances and model portfolios carry additional applicable disclosure requirements; the checklist above does not replace those provisions.
Ratings, targets & supporting data
Under Regulation 20, use reliable facts and consistently defined recommendation/rating terms, including applicable horizons and benchmarks. Corroborate recommendations with relevant data and analysis. Where a rating or price target has been assigned for at least one year, include the prescribed daily closing-price graph for the assigned period or three years, whichever is shorter.
Release gate for the analyst
For each report, complete and verify the disclosures, resolve missing fields, record the review/approval, issue the report with its disclosures and retain the issued version and supporting evidence. A generic website guide cannot replace this work. Ask for the complete report if disclosures or pages are missing: care@tradingjunkie.in.
